CLIENT: Logistics and transport company active since 1961 with 4 logistics locations.
CHALLANGE: The customer needed to migrate the three-site network infrastructure from an MPLS solution to an IPSec VPN, ensuring continuity of connectivity and services, and decentralize its IT infrastructure, thereby reducing management costs.
SOLUTION: As regards the migration of the Internet lines, a parallel and interconnected network was created to the existing one and the services were migrated from the MPLS network to the ipsec VPN. Regarding decentralization, Soteha has implemented a dedicated private cloud on which all production servers have been transferred, making them accessible from the three locations.
BENEFITS: Thanks to the use of ipsec VPN instead of MPLS, it was possible to reduce the fees for internet lines. Virtualization and server migration in the Seteha data center allowed the customer to not have the IT infrastructure on site and also to contain the costs of managing it.
